Pike Reproductive Area Model 2011
收藏资源简介:
A model of the appearance of small chicks in the Archipelago Sea area, created in the NANNUT project. The performance data of young chicks was collected in June-July using Olympia-gulf nets. For modelling, turbidity and other environmental parameters were measured during the juvenile surveys. In the R-programme (version 2.12.1) a logistical regression model was adapted to the data, in which the turbidity (maximum value of early summer) explains the occurrence of small chicks in the zander. The model’s forecast is based on measured opacity values for the interpolated turbidity surface in ArcGIS. More information on the model in the RKTL’s work report www.nannut.fi. This data is suitable for examining the location and extent of pike pike breeding areas (probability of the occurrence of small juveniles) in the Archipelago Sea (Airisto-Velkua fishing area). The data can be used as additional information on coastal zone planning, zoning, etc., as knowledge of reproductive areas helps to plan and protect the use of coastal areas.
