Exergaming Effects Dataset: Physiological and Psychosocial Responses in Sedentary Young Adults

This dataset contains experimental data from a study investigating the physiological and psychosocial effects of Nintendo ARMSTM exergaming among sedentary young adults. Data were collected from 52 male college students participating in a 2 (time: pretest vs. posttest) \u00d7 2 (play mode: single-player vs. multi-player) laboratory experiment. The dataset includes demographic information, energy expenditure, heart rate, reaction time, positive affect (10 items), and sociability (7 items), measured at both pretest and posttest. These data support analyses on how exergaming time and play mode influence physical activity intensity, affective responses, cognitive performance, and social outcomes.
