All the information in the cadastre is
can be found in the ‘Table’ tab.
The data are not in the format
"one line = one grant". In
due to certain constraints when consolidating data, each
line represents a grant tranche paid in 2020. This means
a single grant paid in three instalments (e.g.)
will correspond to three rows in the table.
Negative amounts correspond to reimbursements of beneficiaries.

Outside of the Tableau module,
the display on the site has certain limitations:

For postal codes: they
not all are in the list proposed in the "Filters" field
because of their large number. This field shows only the 100 codes
Postal services with the highest number of subsidies.
In the same way, for the tooltips of
the "Map" tab will show only the information
the first 100 grants (from the highest amount).
Example: the municipality "X" presents 750 grants. By clicking on
the tooltip, information about (among others) the beneficiary and
the amount of the grant is displayed. We will only be able to review
the first 100 grants.
This does not mean that the subsidy does not exist
Not. The information is in the main table, where you can
isolate different data using filters (on the left
screen) and sorting (in the column headings of the
table).
You can also export all
data in various formats by means of the “Export” tab, for
consultations, statistics or analysis.

The document "Instructions for the use of
data" is intended to accompany the user in the
understanding of the data criteria related to grants published on this
portal.

The Grants Register:

Transparency of subsidies
granted by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is one of the priorities of the
Government.
On 18 January 2018, the Parliament of the
Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles has adopted a decree to establish a cadastre
subsidies in the French Community. This decree lists all the
information relating to grants awarded in the French Community and which
must be communicated in a report, including all the
grants awarded between 1 January and 31 December of
the previous year, which will be sent to Parliament on 15 June of
the current year. The cadastre is put online in open data on the portal www.odwb.be in
the 15 calendar days of transmission of the report to Parliament.
The
cadastre of subsidies is part of a
willingness to ensure transparency
in the award of subsidies paid by all subsidising bodies
Dependent on the Wallonia-Brussels Federation: the Government, Ministers,
services of the Administration, including administrative services at
autonomous accounting (SACA) and legal persons governed by public law created
by or dependent on the French Community, including structures
legal rights arising within the latter, when they grant, on their
own budget, grants financed in whole or in part by
resources made available to them by the French Community.
This cadastre shows the subsidies paid
in the 2020 budget year. It includes data related to the COVID-19 Emergency and Support Fund.
Re-use and exploitation of data:

The beneficiary who
re-use the data has the right to re-distribute and re-use it, at the
only condition not to modify the data used and to mention as
author of the data the Ministry of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
