Employment policy study, 2009

The Forum for Personnel Policy presented some of the efforts made to improve job satisfaction within the Danish regions and municipalities at the Personnel Policy Fair in 2010. The fair was the motivation behind this survey. AKF (Danish Institute of Governmental Research) and the Forum for Personnel Policy has conducted a survey which aims at providing information for furtherer discussion at the fair. The survey focused on three areas: How satisfied are the employees and what is the personnel policy focused on? What makes it attractive to work in the public sector? What drives the public employees? The analyses are based on a questionnaire answered by employees in the municipalities and the regions in 2009.
