Fighting fire with fire: The role of physiological arousal in media-induced recovery - open data, code, and materials

hypothesis_tests.html is the rendered analysis report (Quarto output). It contains the code, results and tables for all hypothesis tests of the study, and it is self-contained, so it opens in any browser. hypothesis_tests.qmd is the Quarto source of that report. Running it reproduces every reported analysis from misr_data.csv. misr_data.csv is the processed, anonymized dataset of the study, with one row per observation. It holds the data behind all reported results. misr_codebook.txt is the codebook. It describes every variable in misr_data.csv, including its meaning, scale and coding. visual_search_task_40_final.jzip is the study export (JATOS archive) of the short, 40-trial visual search task. It was used as the fatigue measure before and after the media exposure, so this is the open material for that task. visual_search_task_200_final.jzip is the study export of the 200-trial visual search task, which induced mental fatigue.
