Sampling data captured in Oceanic Exploration Research The China Ocean Mineral Resources Research and Development Association (hereinafter referred to as COMRA) conducted its activities during 2016 for implementing the programme of activities set forth in the Working Programme in the Extension Five-year Period specified in the Application for Extension of the Contract for Exploration of Polymetallic Nodules submitted by COMRA on 19th November 2015 and approved by ISBA on 18th July 2016. In accordance with the provisions specified in Section 10 of Annex IV to the Regulations, COMRA, as the contractor, submits to the Secretary- General of the International Seabed Authority (hereinafter referred to as ISBA), this Annual Report covering its programme of activities for the year of 2016.
