Characterizing urban–rural gradients in vegetation greening trends of Chinese cities
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the analysis of urban–rural gradients in greenness trends of Chinese cities, which provides both pixel-level and city-level indicators derived from Landsat NDVI time series at 30-meter spatial resolution, along with scripts used for processing and statistical analysis. It includes: (1) pixel_level_trends_cities.zip, which provides pixel-level greenness trends and their statistical significance for each city, along with spatial information such as coordinates and distance to the urban center; (2) overall_trends_and_gradients_and_driving_factors_cities.csv, which summarizes city-level indicators including overall greenness trends, urban–rural gradients, and potential driving factors (e.g., urbanization metrics and climate variables) for regression analysis; and (3) three R scripts—calculating_urban_rural_gradient_and_overall_trend_each_city.R for deriving city-level trends and gradients from pixel data, spatial_regression_gradients_national_level.R for modeling the drivers of urban–rural gradients, and spatial_regression_overalltrend_national_level.R for analyzing the determinants of overall greenness trends. The detailed description could be found in the file, description.docx.
