Hybrid epoxy adhesive properties for wind turbine blade applications

This data includes the void volume, DMA, tensile, shear and plane-strain fracture toughness properties of epoxy adhesives used in wind turbine applications. SPABOND™ 820HTA (non-toughened) and SPABOND™ 840HTA (toughened) epoxy adhesives are combined via manual and machine mixing processes. The hybrid and manufacturing effects on the material properties are determined through instrumented experiments.
