HLA typing of a family (patient and his mother) for donor selection to haploidential transplantation of hematopoetic stem cells(HSC) 1140-1, 1140-2. HLA typing 1140-1, 1140-2

Routine procedure of HLA typing of class 1 and class 2 was performed for patient (1140-1)and his mother (1140-2). Mother was a potential donor of HST. Patient and mother had an ambiguous result in Cw locus in high resolution. The common allele of patient and mother would be Cw*06:02:01:01 if in position 756 is C, but we have Y (CT). We suggest a synonymous substitution in exon 4 and a novel allele of Cw*06:02 as a result.
