This study was conducted based on Google Earth Engine (GEE), employing Sentinel-2 remote sensing imagery with 10-meter spatial resolution spanning from May to September 2020. We combined the spectral signatures of ground features with the random forest classification algorithm, and incorporated the Normalized Difference Moisture Index (NDMI) to classify the shrubs in the study area.
