This dataset provides daily temperature profiles for six lakes from 1981 to 2099, generated using the calibrated FLake model. Historical simulations (1981–2020) were driven by the ERA5-Land dataset, while future simulations (2021–2099) use forcing from ISIMIP2b. For more information on the underlying datasets and the calibration method, please refer to the paper “Subsurface heatwaves in lakes” (Woolway et al., 2025, Nature Climate Change).
