Toponymic Inventory of Settlements in the Community of Andalusia. Ítaca

Node of the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia. Ministry of Economics and Knowledge. Junta de Andalucia. Data set of the Toponymic Settlements Inventory of the Community of Andalusia (ITACA) integrated in the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia (IDEAndalucía) following the guidelines of the Statistical and Cartographic System of Andalusia. Spatial data set collected by the official nomenclator of settlements (population entities, productive activities, services etc.) of the municipalities of Andalusia. The information that is represented in these maps is the result of the technical and institutional validation by the Plenary of the Town Halls of the toponyms and delimitations of the settlements of the different municipalities that are part of the ITACA project, for use as official toponymy. This toponymy is integrated and published in the Geographical Nomenclator of Andalusia that will be part of the National Geographical Nomenclator, consisting of the georeferenced names that must be used in the official cartography.
