Documentation of sediment core GeoB24006-1@en

Field data: Core images of gravity corer sediments collected during project Kerguelen Plateau Sediment Drifts with RV Sonne Cruise SO272 in 2020. Images of core sections were assambled using custom made IGOR Pro Software Code. The gravity cores were retrieved from the Labuan and Gaggatt Basin spanning Plio-Pleistocene to Eocene sediments. Core Images were generated to characterise the color of the sediment and document changes in color as well as sedimentary structures.实地数据集：2020年搭载松恩号（RV Sonne）科考船SO272航次，于凯尔盖朗高原沉积物漂移（Kerguelen Plateau Sediment Drifts）项目中采集的重力柱沉积物岩芯图像。岩芯断面图像通过自研IGOR Pro软件代码拼接生成。本次获取的重力柱岩芯采自拉布安（Labuan）盆地与加加特（Gaggatt）盆地，沉积物年代范围涵盖上新世-更新世至始新世。岩芯图像的生成目的为表征沉积物颜色属性，记录颜色变化与沉积构造特征。
