This dataset includes comprehensive data and analysis from our study investigating the contextual dependence of self-grooming behavior in common hamsters (Cricetus cricetus). We conducted three distinct experiments involving a total of 30 captive male hamsters. These experiments aimed to explore how different environmental and social stimuli affect the structure and components of self-grooming behavior.
