Global genetic profiling of a pediatric series of T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma [Oncoscan]

T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma T-LBL is a rare aggressive neoplasm of precursor T cells whose pathogenesis is not fully elucidated and it is closely related to acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), the most common subtype of cancer in children, although recent studies suggest biological differences between the two entities. The aim of this study was to characterize the genetic and molecular heterogeneity of these tumors. A large series of 32 tumors were characterized using an integrated approach, including targeted gene sequencing and copy-number arrays.
