Annual reports provide an overview of the work of an agency work during the reporting year. Most reporting years are for the financial year ending 30 June, though earlier twentieth century reports may have been for the calendar year ending 31 December.

年度报告用于概述某一机构在报告年度内的工作开展全貌。多数报告年度以截止至6月30日的财政年度（financial year）为周期，不过20世纪早期的报告可能采用截止至12月31日的日历年度（calendar year）作为报告周期。
