Solid phase data from flow-through column experiment on olivine addition following addition to permeable marine sediment. EBSD was performed at two accelerating voltages (5 kV and 15 kV) to determine the ratio of Mg:Si along the surfaces of olivine grains (unincubated but washed, beginning of the 10% olivine flow-through column, and end of the 10% olivine flow-through column). XRD was performed on the washed olivine mixed into the natural sand, the natural sand, the 10% olivine sand post-incubation, and the fine grained material separated from the bulk sediment taken from the ends of the 0% and 10% olivine columns.本数据集源自渗透性海洋沉积物添加橄榄石后开展的渗流柱实验固相测试数据。采用5 kV与15 kV两种加速电压开展电子背散射衍射（Electron Backscatter Diffraction, EBSD）测试，以测定橄榄石颗粒表面的镁硅（Mg:Si）比值，测试样本涵盖未培养但经洗涤的样品、10%橄榄石渗流柱起始端样品以及10%橄榄石渗流柱末端样品。针对以下四类样本开展X射线衍射（X-ray Diffraction, XRD）测试：掺入天然砂的经洗涤橄榄石、天然砂、培养后的10%橄榄石砂混合物，以及从0%橄榄石柱与10%橄榄石柱末端采集的整体沉积物中分离得到的细粒物质。
