In this study, we used RNA sequencing to interrogate which aspects of circadian gene expression in skeletal muscle are autonomous or require clocks in other tissues WT, KO and skeletal muscle Bmal1 reconstituted mice ( see Koronowski et al Cell 2019 and Greco et al Science Advances 2021 for general model description) were used to collect tissues at 6 time points over the diurnal cycle - 12 hr light: 12 hr dark conditions and ad libitum feeding of normal chow; tissues harvested at ZT0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20
