WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from USS GALLERY in the NW Atlantic from 1991-04-21 to 1991-06-23 (NODC Accession 9100123)

The data in this accession were collected in NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) from USS GALLERY between April 21, 1991 to June 23, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Twenty five stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.本次存档数据集采集于西北大西洋（以西经40度为界），采集周期为1991年4月21日至1991年6月23日，作业平台为美国海军“加里”号（USS GALLERY）舰艇。本数据集包含利用抛投式温深仪（Expendable Bathythermograph, XBT）获取的不同深度实时海水温度数据，相关记录由美国海军以条带记录图形式留存。共计25份条带记录图与无线电日志被提交至美国国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center, NODC）。上述条带记录图中的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，当前以C116文件格式存储于NODC的数据存储系统中。
