资源简介:
The research model investigates if mammography screening is a cost-effective intervention in Nigeria, and the optimal option between annual screening and biennial screening in comparison to a no intervention strategy. Two scenario were explored: 100% screening uptake and 50% screening uptake.
An excel workbook, "Breast screening model 1.xlsx" collects the research datasets and analysis. This workbook was for the first scenario of 100% screening uptake.
The first worksheet, "Model Figure", contains the health states and the potential transitions between them. The second worksheet, "Parameters", contains the epidemiological and clinical data used in the study. The third worksheet, "Life table", contains the life expectancy of the study population. Worksheets 4-6 evaluates the costs and health outcomes of the various interventions. Worksheet 7, "Model Validation", compared the models' health outcomes with the 2019 Global Burden of Disease data. Worksheet 8, "Simulation", contains the result of incremental cost-effectiveness ratios (ICER) and the probabilistic sensitivity analysis (PSA) using 10,000 iterations of Monte Carlo simulation. Worksheets 9-11 contain the figures for the cost-effectiveness plane, cost-effectiveness acceptability curve, and cost-effectiveness acceptability frontier, respectively. Worksheets 12 and 13 contain the dataset and result of the univariate sensitivity analysis, and the Tornado diagram, respectively.
The other workbook "Breast screening model 2.xlsx" explored the second scenario of 50% screening uptake.
present the literature datasets implemented to train and test the model performance in many pieces of literature.
