资源简介:
This simulation include data for model-to-data validation of HAZUS-MH Level 1 (basic level using generalized national database) and Level 2 analyses (advanced level, including user-defined hazard data and building inventory). A comparative analysis of predicted and observed structural damage is conducted using a hindcast of Hurricane Michael (2018) impacted buildings in Mexico Beach, Florida. The validation is performed through independent field observations (StEER group) and virtual damage assessment (Colorado State University and Oregon State University), as well as the quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) procedure to ensure the quality of datasets and to understand uncertainty in First-Floor Elevation (FFE) and Damage States (DS). The HAZUS-related files include simulation model, simulation input, and simulation outputs. Additionally, the dataset include collected hindcast dataset before and after QAQC. Overall, this collection of datasets can be utilized to better understand the accuracy, limitations, and applicability of hurricane damage models for buildings in coastal regions, and to guide the development of next-generation, data-informed damage and loss assessment frameworks.
