Dataset of Pseudomonas protegens Pf-5 in pure culture on different agar media

Pseudomonas protegens Pf-5 (ATCC BAA-477) is a Gram-negative pseudomonad with utility in leaching copper and gold from electronic scrap materials through the secretion of hydrogen cyanide. Typically, the bacterium grows on rich solid medium with a round, greenish colony morphology. But the greenish hue pales upon cultivation in minimal salts-based agar medium. This dataset comprises pictures of P. protegens Pf-5 growth on a variety of agar media. Incubation conditions were 30 oC for variable period of time on different agar media.
