Geological heritage in situ (geological sites) and ex situ (museums)

The “National Geological Heritage” programme is part of the desire of the National Museum of Natural History to ensure its mission to conserve the natural heritage, also in the field of Earth Sciences. The Geological Heritage corresponds to all ex situ objects such as collections and their specific documentation, as well as in situ objects, such as geological sites. The layer takes over the different heritage sites.
