Asset package related to AMT article 'Laboratory characterisation of the radiation temperature error of radiosondes and its application to the GRUAN data processing for the Vaisala RS41'

This repository consists of a packed (*.zip) archive containing a NetCDF data file, two image files, and a text file, related to the manuscript "Laboratory characterisation of the radiation temperature error of radiosondes and its application to the GRUAN data processing for the Vaisala RS41" by von Rohden et al., submitted to Atmospheric Measurements and Technology. The data file (NetCDF) contains experimental data in a pre-evaluated form (no raw data) that were used to produce Figures 12, 13, and 14 in the manuscript. The image files contain photographies showing how the radiosonde is mounted on the rotating support rod before installation in the measurement chamber of the experimental setup. The text files contain lists of the RS41 sounding files which are included in the analyses of the mean solar temperature correction and the comparison of the GRUAN (GDP) and Vaisala (EDT) processings for temperature (Figures 19 and 20).
