Data Underlying "An Integrative Framework for Species Delimitation in Tropical Angiosperms: Lessons from the Ageratum–Conoclinium Complex"

This dataset contains the data underlying the study “An Integrative Framework for Species Delimitation in Tropical Angiosperms: Lessons from the Ageratum–Conoclinium Complex.” The repository provides the data compiled, extracted, and derived from the integrative taxonomic evidence used to develop and demonstrate the Tropical Integrative Taxonomy Framework (TITF). The dataset covers morphological and anatomical characters, developmental observations, ecological evidence, phytochemical and GC–MS profiles, ethnobotanical information, and the quantitative and derived data supporting the analyses presented in the manuscript. The deposited files distinguish between directly reported, extracted, summary, and derived/calculated data where applicable. Where underlying individual observations were unavailable, they have not been reconstructed or fabricated; reported summary statistics and derived values are retained as documented in the source material. The dataset is intended to provide a transparent and traceable record of the evidence underlying the study and should be interpreted together with the associated manuscript, which provides the methodological and analytical context. Representative voucher specimens are deposited in the Delta State University Herbarium (DELSUH), including Ageratum conyzoides (DELSUH-309) and Conoclinium coelestinum (DELSUH-269).
