Demographics of subjects, stratified by diagnosis.

Subjects used in quantitative gene expression study, were grouped by four criteria, including disease status (this Table), CDR score (Table 3), plaque density score (Table 4) and Braak stage (Table 5). In each group we show the number of subjects, age of death (mean±standard deviation), number of APOE4 non-carriers/carriers, sample pH (mean±standard deviation), post-mortem interval (mean±standard deviation), and sex (male/female).
