MeCP2 is transcriptional regulator, however the mechanism is not fully understood. This study uses various levels of MeCP2 in human neurons to discover mechanism of MeCP2 action. The transcriptional data are used to correlate with methylation status of genes. Overall design: LUHMES-derived neurons have been modified to express seven levels of MeCP2 and RNA-seq was performed for all the cell lines.
