Characterization and Classification of Irrigated rice in Santa Catarina

The data contained in this repository is related to the article: *Characterization and classification of irrigated rice fields in Brazil based on time-series similarity and machine learning models using Sentinel-1 and -2 satellite imagery*. Here, you can obtain the training and validation blocks, as well as the classification results (GeoTIFF image). Additionally, we also provide the characterization of each region in vector format, based on the observed temporal patterns. The raw images used in this research can be accessed using Google Earth Engine API, filtering by collections ee.ImageCollection("COPERNICUS/S1_GRD") and ee.ImageCollection("COPERNICUS/S2_HARMONIZED").
