Characterization and Classification of Irrigated rice in Santa Catarina

The data contained in this repository is related to the article: *Characterization and classification of irrigated rice fields in Brazil based on time-series similarity and machine learning models using Sentinel-1 and -2 satellite imagery*. Here, you can obtain the training and validation blocks, as well as the classification results (GeoTIFF image). Additionally, we also provide the characterization of each region in vector format, based on the observed temporal patterns. The raw images used in this research can be accessed using Google Earth Engine API, filtering by collections ee.ImageCollection("COPERNICUS/S1_GRD") and ee.ImageCollection("COPERNICUS/S2_HARMONIZED").本仓库所收录的数据与下述论文相关：《基于时序相似度与机器学习模型、利用哨兵1号（Sentinel-1）与哨兵2号（Sentinel-2）卫星影像对巴西灌溉稻田开展特征表征与分类》。在此可获取训练与验证区块，以及分类结果（GeoTIFF格式图像（GeoTIFF））。此外，本仓库还提供基于观测到的时序模式的各区域矢量格式特征表征数据。本研究使用的原始影像可通过谷歌地球引擎API（Google Earth Engine API）获取，需通过集合 ee.ImageCollection("COPERNICUS/S1_GRD") 与 ee.ImageCollection("COPERNICUS/S2_HARMONIZED") 进行筛选。
