THE IMPACT OF IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA IN PREGNANT WOMEN ON MATERNAL AND FETAL HEALTH AND WAYS TO IMPROVE ITS PREVENTION

This scientific thesis analyzes the prevalence of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in pregnant women, its negative impact on the maternal organism and fetal development, as well as the issues of improving preventive measures. IDA is one of the most common extragenital pathologies during pregnancy, significantly increasing the risk of perinatal complications. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) and local clinical studies, the article scientifically substantiates the effectiveness of early detection of latent iron deficiency and the implementation of differential prevention programs.
