CL stimulate endogenous simultaneous nitrifying and denitrifying pathways

The specific carbon components of CL may favor different N metabolic pathways, thus influences of main carbon components, namely sodium acetate (NaAc), 2-butyl alcohol (SBA), and lactic acid (LA), were profiled on anaerobic denitrification and heterotrophic nitrification & aerobic denitrification (HN-AD) pathways.
