Individualized homeopathic medicines in the treatment of inferior turbinate hypertrophy in adolescents and adults: an open-label, single arm clinical trial

This study presents a prospective, open-label clinical evaluation of individualized homeopathic medicines in patients with clinically diagnosed inferior turbinate hypertrophy. Longitudinal changes in nasal obstruction and sinonasal symptom burden were assessed using the NOSE scale, SNOT-22, and MYMOP-2 over a 3–6 month follow-up. Repeated-measures, mixed-effects, and Bayesian multivariate analyses demonstrated rapid, statistically significant, and clinically meaningful symptom reduction, with most participants achieving minimal clinically important difference within one month. The study contributes original real-world longitudinal data on homeopathic management of inferior turbinate hypertrophy and informs the design of future randomized controlled trials.
