Myanmar (2008): Quarterly TB patient survey

The study will carried out quarterly on new DOTS patients starting from 1st October 2004. MIS unit will compile a list of new DOTS patients that initiated treatment from SQHCs for the last quarter in every January, April, July and October. Research department will interviewed 5% of the randomly selected patients from the list. It will sort the list first by Sate and Division of client's residence and second by treatment initiated date. A systematic random sampling method will be use to select patients from the list. Since only the doctors of SQHC have the client's detail address the following patient replacement criteria is needed for the interviewer in case the patient cannot be traced.
