Trail: Tour du Morvan des Sommets

Accessible to good walkers, this new trail offers a 140 km and 7-stage itinerary around the 12 villages of the Grand Site de France Bibracte - Morvan des Sommets.

This hike takes in the three main peaks of the Morvan: Haut Folin (901 m), Mont Preneley (855 m) and Mont Beuvray (821 m), the birthplace of the Gallic town of Bibracte.

Atypical and rather confidential, the Grand Site de France Bibracte - Morvan des Sommets is the landscape setting for the protected and listed natural sites of Bibracte - Mont Beuvray and Mont Preneley - Sources de l'Yonne. This world of forests, meadows, hedged farmland and running water, dotted with villages and hamlets and criss-crossed by a multitude of footpaths, offers a mosaic of typical, unspoilt landscapes.
