Data for publication "Development and cancellation of long-duration positive ionospheric storms: both changes of the F2-layer peak height and O/N2 ratio can be decisive".
收藏资源简介:
These data archives include the dataset and the Field Line Interhemispheric Plasma (FLIP) model software used in the manuscript“Development and cancellation of long-duration positive ionospheric storms: both changes of the F2-layer peak height and O/N2 ratio can be decisive".#1 The data archive "Figures in manuscript" contains a README file and a dataset to plot figures in the manuscript.Data files in CSV (comma-separated values) and txt format contain modeling and observational values. Modeling values obtained from the FLIP model.Observational values consist of ionosonde, digisonde, GNSS receivers (TEC), and the Global Ultraviolet Imager (GUVI) on the NASA Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energy and Dynamics (TIMED) satellite measurements (O/N2). The planetary geomagnetic index (Kp) is from the World Data Center for Geomagnetism, Kyoto. The SYM/H index and zonal component of the magnetospheric electric field are taken from the OMNIWeb. Data files contain data from February 25 to March 1, 2023.#2 The data archive "FLIP model and simulations" contains a README file, the FLIP model software, and four folders with simulation results associated with the manuscript. #3 The data archive "Kharkiv_ionosonde_data" contains raw ionosonde data from Kharkiv ionosonde for the period from February 25, 2023 to March 1, 2023.#4 The data archive "GIRO_Grahamstown data contains a README file and the Grahamstown digisonde dataset retrieved from the GIRO database from February 25, 2023 to March 1, 2023.
