The code encompasses data preprocessing, statistical analyses, and visualization routines related to fault proximity, erosion efficiency, seismic shaking, and landscape metrics. The directory structure mirrors the organization of the manuscript and its supplementary materials. All code cells are annotated to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and ease of interpretation. Required Input Files E_OctopusV24_FaultRockDamage.shp: Main dataset used in the global analysis. E_OctopusV24_FaultRockDamage_socal.shp: Subset for Southern California, including additional shear wave velocity data. For the Southern California shapefile, an additional attribute column "Vs_SoCal" provides shear wave velocity (in km/s) at 500 m depth, derived from Rayleigh wave tomography (Zigone et al., 2015.)
