Nanomaterials have been widely used in biomedicine and agriculture in recent years. Fullerol, which is a carbon-based nanomaterial, was found to increase the germination rate and radicle length of pea seeds under osmotic stress in our experiment. However, the molecular mechanism of the effect of fullerol on seed germination is still unclear. Therefore, a transcriptomic analysis was performed from embryo samples of pea seeds which were soaked for 12h in four different solutions (30mL), i.e., water (W), 100mg/L fullerol (WF), 0.3 M mannitol(M), and 100mg/L fullerol dissolved in 0.3 M mannitol (MF), to acquire the information of fullerol regulation of the global gene expressions during germination under osmotic stress and control.
