Supplementary material for "Mutual predictiveness of sound correspondences for reconstruction and language subgrouping: The case of Gyalrongic preinitials"

This is the supplementary material of the paper "Mutual predictiveness of sound correspondences for reconstruction and language subgrouping: The case of Gyalrongic preinitials", to be published in Diachronica. It includes the datasets, codes and images involved in the research. Publication is still several months away, and I am trying to collect and identify more cognates. Several clarifications about the data: Geshiza lvi 'snow': I got this form from a speaker via Chime Lhamo. However, the cognate form is not present in Honkasalo (2019), nor in Duo'erji (1998). This speaker should come from Geshiza, but the exact form and dialect need verification. I will get this form settled before publication. According to Lai (2022), Khroskyabs mŋɑ́(d) 'five' comes from an earlier vŋɑ́(d). The nature of this preinitial is different from a real mC-, but a vC-. wkwə 'be satiated' in Bawang is phonologically vkwə, so the actual preinitial is vC- (Yang 2021: 60-61). The datasets will be revised and expanded regularly. Please inform me if you spot any error. I will redo the analysis once the errors are corrected.
