(Database) Development and Validation of Inertial Measurement Unit System for Tracking Wheelchair Sports Kinematics

<b>Purpose:</b> Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) system was developed for tracking wheelchair sports kinematics which installed on the left side of the wheel axle. The researchers developed the data processing system and designed the Graphical User Interface (GUI) that displays the kinematic data of the wheelchair. It allows trainers to track wheelchairs to gather data for analyzing and developing wheelchair athletes’ skills and fitness. It can be used in both competitive and training sessions. This research aims to study the validition of developed IMU system for tracking wheelchair sports kinematics, compared with a 2D motion analysis (2DMA).
