1. This dataset contains basic meteorological data from 2022 to 2023 collected by the CAS Kathmandu Center for Science and Education. The monitored parameters include: air temperature (℃), relative humidity (%), atmospheric pressure (kPa), precipitation (mm), radiation (W/m²), and wind speed (m/s). Table 2 is the meteorological station description table, which includes the geographic location and underlying surface conditions. 2. This dataset is derived from the hourly observational data of the CAS Kathmandu Center for Science and Education. Air temperature, atmospheric pressure, radiation and wind speed are calculated as daily averages, while precipitation is summed to daily total values (no quality correction has been applied to the data). Observed variable: upward shortwave radiation UR Avg. 3. Data quality description: Among the above parameters, the atmospheric pressure data has poor quality with a large number of missing values. 4. This meteorological dataset has broad application prospects. It can be used for comparative analysis with datasets from different regions of South Asia, and can serve graduate students and scientists engaged in fields such as atmospheric science, hydrology, climatology, physical geography and ecology.
