To reveal the molecular mechanisms by which rapeseed resisted to S. sclerotiorum upon beta-ocimene treatment, transcriptomic profiling was performed on the fifth leaves of treated and control plants.The results showed that beta-ocimene treatment significantly strengthened defense capabilities of rapeseed. beta-ocimene treatment can activate various defense-related signaling pathways, including jasmonic acid signaling, salicylic acid signaling, and MAPK signaling.
