Handaxe shaping by expert knapper - Video record

Knapping experiment in the frame of the "MSCA Western European Acheulean Project - WEAP" (748316), made at UCL in March 2019. The aim was to reproduce handaxes, paying special attention to the gestures, number of blows and how knapper turns the blank to produce the instrument.本实验为“MSCA西欧阿舍利项目（WEAP）”（项目编号748316）框架下的石器打制实验，于2019年3月在伦敦大学学院（University College London，UCL）开展。本实验旨在复刻阿舍利手斧，重点关注打制过程中的操作手势、打击次数，以及打制者如何转动石器毛坯以完成工具制作。
