Metagenomic analysis of dental calculus via shotgun sequencing of double-stranded genomic libraries from 44 ancient foragers and farmers the Balkans and the Italian Peninsula. Paired-end raw-sequence data deposited here have been adapter-timmed, merged, and deduplicated with Prinseq (as described in Ottoni et al. 2021)
