Dietary zinc requirements in growing pigs: a dual meta-analytical approach combining dose–response modelling and body zinc deposition

DatabaseAnimalOpenSpaceApril2026 contains the database developed for this study. The file includes two spreadsheets: ZnReq, which contains dose-response experiments, and ZnDep, which contains pig body composition data. The database was created from published experiments used in the meta-analysis. Column names are described in the metadata spreadsheet.

CodeZnDep_April2026 and CodeZnReq_April2026 are the associated R scripts used to analyse the ZnDep and ZnReq datasets, respectively.
