Experimental proof-of-concept demonstrating GPS-free waypoint recognition using passive cosmic ray muon detection combined with inertial sensing. This archive contains the technical note, test protocol script, raw data, and replication checklist from the first successful demonstration achieving 4 out of 5 passing trials. The system uses three Cosmic Watch muon detectors mounted on a mobile platform (Traxxas Rustler RC chassis) with NVIDIA Jetson compute. Location recognition is achieved by comparing muon flux signatures at different spatial positions, without reliance on GPS, external beacons, or preprogrammed motion sequences. Key result: Location A produced repeatable signatures (A1 ≈ A2) while Location B produced consistently distinct signatures, demonstrating that passive muon detection can distinguish spatial positions approximately 10-20 meters apart.
