Code and derived data for: Supershear rupture redistributes rather than amplifies long-period ground motion — counterfactual kinematic modelling of the 2025 Mw 7.7 Mandalay (Myanmar) earthquake
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the analysis scripts and derived data products supporting the manuscript “Supershear rupture redistributes rather than amplifies long-period ground motion: counterfactual kinematic modelling of the 2025 Mw 7.7 Mandalay (Myanmar) earthquake” (submitted to Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering). The analysis is based on the eight potency density tensor inversion (PDTI) models of Inoue et al. (2025; https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15386684). Contents:(1) scripts/ – Python scripts that parse the PDTI models, compute lower-bound apparent rupture speeds by segment, run the far-field whole-space P/S forward model for a long-period PGV proxy (T > 8 s), build the subshear counterfactual (V_cf = 0.8β), and reproduce all figures;(2) derived/ – kinematic metrics, sub-event and mechanism tables, PGV-proxy grids, supershear/subshear ratio fields, zone ratios, decay exponents, apparent source time functions and sensitivity tests (CSV and NumPy .npz). See README.md for file descriptions and instructions to reproduce. Requirements: Python ≥ 3.10, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib.
