This study aimed to investigate the effects of sugarcane fiber and polyphenol mix (Polynol+SCFiber) on gut microbiota and short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) production using in vitro gastrointestinal digestion and pig fecal inoculum fermentation model. Microbial profiling with 16S rRNA sequencing was utilized to examine the pig fecal microbiota profile, while the identification and quantification of SCFA produced during fermentation were performed by GC-FID.
