PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of carbon fiber nonwoven fabric that reduces the occurrence of defect such as wrinkle and cut line， prevents a sheet from being torn and has a good formation. SOLUTION: A carbon fiber nonwoven fabric manufacturing method is a manufacturing method to form a carbon fiber nonwoven fabric containing carbon fiber and thermoplastic resin fiber by wet-type papermaking method and the method is characterized in spraying water droplet in the quantity equal to 0.2 L or more and equal to 2.5 L or less per square meter of wet paper to the wet paper passing through a couch roll at a former part of a wire part.
