Human multiple myeloma cell lines L-363 and RPMI-8226 were cultivated with increasing doeses of PCARBTP, a mitochondriotropic kv1.3 Inhibitor, to induce resistance. After reaching a level of resistance corresponding to a multiple of the IC50 dose, the cells were analyzed for induced resistance mechnisms comparing differentially regulated genes of resistant vs. sensitive cells.
