A case study was conducted using the traffic network in Beijing, China. Travel demand data were sourced from bus smart card records collected between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on February 26, 2017. The area within the Sixth Ring Road of Beijing was divided into multiple travel demand spaces for generating travel demand. Demand pairs consisting of over 10 demands were chosen as potential CB lines, resulting in 476 potential CB demand pairs in total.
